Book Release: Psalm 23 El Raah – The God who Shepherds

Book Release: Psalm 23 El Raah The God who Shepherds

Our pastor is currently taking us through a series on Psalm 23. It is called “The Good Shepherd”. I’m sure many of you, like me, know that passage by heart. It speaks to God’s love towards us and that he will tend to us since we are the sheep of his church.

When our church first announced that we would kick off 2025 with this series, I immediately found joy in the fact that I recently had another devotion published in a compilation book, El Raah – The God who Shepherds.  Unfortunately, with the craziness of the fall and winter months, holidays, and illness, I never shared this anthology book release with readers.

So here I am today, telling you about this book: El Raah: The God Who Shepherds.

Psalm 23 has always been near and dear to my heart. It is probably one of the first long passages of scripture I recall memorizing as a young girl when I was in elementary school. At that time, I attended a small Christian school, and I can still remember the sweaty palms and shaky voice as I stood in line to recite the passage to our teacher. I’m pretty sure I was able to recite it and got a passing grade, but all I remember is saying it over and over and over…”The Lord is my shepherd…”

I loved God’s word then, and I still love it today because it has the power to transform our lives. In this book release, you will find many stories of the God who shepherds, and you will find a very personal devotion from me sharing how this passage of scripture became a mantra after the death of my father.

Here is a link to the book if you want a copy.

May the God who Shepherds bless you and guide you as you go about your week!
